MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE
Kath is appointed by Ann to run the shop. Joan secretly makes it clear to Kath that they will sell illegal goods in the shop and that Joan will take a large percentage of the gain. Spider feels her business is threatened by the shop, but Joan tells her to stay calm, otherwise it will be revealed that a message from Spider contributed to Lisa's boyfriend's death. Spider then confesses this to Lisa to get away from Joan's threat. Lisa attacks Spider, but at the same time regains her ability to speak. Spider tries to burn the shop down, but is stopped by Merle. Joan decides that Spider must be punished and orders Rodney to do it. He goes to her cell in the night and bashes her.

MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE
Joan and Rodney provoke Rita and have her put in solitary. Alice continues to lead the boycott against illegal goods from the shop. Rodney and Kath force Alice to drink alcohol. When the other women find her drunk they think she broke her own ban on buying illegal goods from the shop and they stop the boycott. Rita is let out of solitary and almost immediately attacks Kath. She is stopped by Joan and Rodney. Joan decides to have Rita sent to Blackmoor.

MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE
Ann can't stop Joan's order to send Rita to Blackmoor. In Rita's absence, Spider tries to ally with Alice against Kath. Rita arrives at Blackmoor and is given a harsh treatment by the officers and the Governor, Ernest Craven. She also meets prisoners Brumby Tucker and Spike Marsh. Kath and Alice fight in the laundry and Kath knocks Alice out with the help of a piece of lead in her hand. The women vote Kath in as their new top dog. Rita sees her brother, Bongo, at Blackmoor and he is much down on drugs.

The women at Blackmoor take some officers hostage. The women at Wentworth organize a demonstration of solidarity with the women at Blackmoor. When Craven threatens to have Bongo shot, Rita orders the officers to be set free, but Bongo is shot to death anyway. The women set Blackmoor on fire.

MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE
Prisoners and officers from Blackmoor arrive at Wentworth after the riot and the fire, Brumby and Spike are among them. Rita is also transferred back to Wentworth. Craven arrives to supervise the male prisoners brought to Wentworth. He allies with Joan against Ann. Pamela quits to take up another job. Sarah is transferred to Barnhurst. Marty recognizes Spike from school. Male prisoner Stud Wilson tries to rape Lisa, but is stopped by Joyce and Merle. The women plan to get back at the men.

MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE
The women and also Joan are shocked by Lorelei's rape. Merle escapes with a young boy, Tommy Kipman, when she is on a shopping tour for the prison with Kath and Rodney. Mr Dwyer sacks Ann after Lorelei's rape and Merle's escape. Craven is appointed Acting Governor. After Joan has threatened to expose him, he backs down and instead Joan is appointed Acting Governor with Craven as Deputy.
