Myra refuses to choose the next victim, so the terrorists kill her instead. Ruth and the terrorists are now allowed to leave for the airport in a minibus with Joan as hostage. At the airport, the police storm the minibus, killing all terrorists and freeing Joan. Ruth is captured and later sent to Blackmoor.

Prostitute Queenie Marshall is brought to Wentworth as prisoner. After Cynthia Leach's treatment of Ruth Ballinger at Blackmoor, Lionel Fellowes stops the murder attempts on Joan.
