MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE Phyllis is taken to hospital with permanent brain damage. At first it is suspected that Cass attacked her. A new prisoner, Marlene Warren, is brought to Wentworth. At the same time, a new prison officer, Heather Rodgers, starts working at Wentworth. Marlene and Heather were schoolmates. Marie Winter is brought to Wentworth. She immediately takes over as top dog. Myra finds Kay at a drug nest and takes her away. Marlene is making a lot of practical jokes with both officers and prisoners. Joan gives newcomer Heather a hard time. Marie has drugs smuggled in. Joan comes home and finds someone has broken in to her house. |

MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE The "burglar" is a little boy, Shane Munroe, who has run away from home. Myra and Wally takes Kay to a secret house for de-toxing. Marie needs an officer for her drug smuggling, she fails in recruiting Dennis. Judy and the women pressure Reb to confess she attacked Phyllis and Meg overhears it. Joan lets Shane and his dog stay for a while. Elderly prisoner Dot Farrer is transferred to H Block. She is complaining about everything. Joan has reported Ann to the Department for all failures and prepares to take over as Governor. Dennis and Heather start dating. Marlene finds Marie's drugs and is threatened by Marie. |

MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE Marlene gives Marie information about Heather's family under the threat of being bashed. Meg is visited by Tracey Morris (her stepdaughter). Heather figths back at Joan. Marie and Reb start co-operating. Edna Pearson arrives as prisoner to Wentworth, accused of poisoning her husband. Marie tells Heather her mother and brother could be hurt if she not co-operates. Tracey's boyfriend, Mark Sanders, also arrives at Meg's house, and to Meg's surprise they take her hostage under gun threat. Joan gives Marie free hands with drug dealing, but in return she demands that Marie starts trouble at the prison to undermine Ann's position. |

MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE Tracey searches Meg's house, finds her bankbook and goes to the bank to try to trick herself into the money. After that we see her buying one plane ticket at the airport. In the meantime Mark is guarding Meg, but she manages to destroy his insulin. Edna is visited by her husband, Harry, who supports her in the coming trial. Reb is visited by her mother, Deidre, who hopes Reb will make peace with her parents. When Mark realizes that Tracey will not come back, he tries to shoot himself but Meg stops him and she manages to overpower him. Marlene is bashed by Marie's gang and Joan stands watching. |

MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE A split between Marie and Reb is arising, since Reb thinks Marie is too brutal. Heather tells Dennis about her brother who was run down by a car, but he was not seriously hurt. Heather agrees to take in drugs for Marie. Kay is free from her worst drug symptoms and Myra gives herself up and is taken to solitary at Wentworth. Marie forces Marlene to make damage in several of the women's cells and in other rooms in the prison. Joan tells Marie it's time for a full scale riot. |

MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE Leigh can't stand the pressure from her agent, Roland, anymore, so she reveals her whole story to Camilla Wells, who publishes it. Shane thinks Joan is too harsh and runs away from her, but after having visited his father, he finds it wise to return to her. Joan puts a drug in the officers' tea so several of the officers and also Ann fall asleep for a while. Marie starts the riot and Joan lets herself being taken hostage and bashed. The riot is destructive and violent, fires are started. Heather is one of the few officers not drugged and she fights back with some success. Judy, Rachel, Dot and Edna try to calm the women down, but not with much success. Reb refuses to follow Marie's order to kill Myra and Marie pushes Reb down the stairs. Bobbie finds Reb unconscious and tries to wake her up. Heather and Joan see Bobbie and think she is responsible for the attack on Reb. |

MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE The officers start to wake up and Ann leads the work to rescue women out from the prison. She personally saves Leigh who was nearly burnt in. Meg rescues Myra from solitary. Police and firemen arrive to stop the riot and the fires. Marie tries to escape but is knocked down by Judy. Reb is taken to hospital and Bobbie is blamed for the attack. The Minister has resigned after the Leigh Templar scandal. Marlene starts suspecting Edna of really being a poisoner, but no-one believes her. Ann is called to the Department and when she comes back tells Meg she will be sacked as Governor of Wentworth. |
