MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE Lynn starts work release at the nursery owned by Syd Butterfield, a friend of her father. A mystery woman is arrested for shop-lifting and brought to Wentworth. She is later identified as Susan Rice. It looks bad for Karen at her retrial until her mother suddenly turns up as witness for her. Karen gets away with a light sentence. Lynn misunderstands a joke from Mr Butterfield and runs away from her work release. The idea of work release is at risk although Lynn later turns up at Wentworth. |

MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE Erica decides to give Lynn another chance and the work release scheme goes on. Vera resumes friendship with suspended prison officer Anne Yates. Susan doesn't want any contact with her family, she bails herself out of prison but is soon returned after shop-lifting again. Vera meets a friend of Anne Yates, George Lucas, who also turns out to be Anne's pusher. |

MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE Susan attacks her husband with acid during a live TV show. She is once again brought to Wentworth and later to mental hospital. During a fight, Anne stabs Bea with a knife. To get away from the other prisoners, Anne hides in a laundry drier, but it gets locked and she seems to have disappeared. |

MAIN EVENTS IN THIS EPISODE Bea is taken to hospital after being stabbed by Anne Yates. Anne is later found, suffocated to death in the laundry drier. When Bea is in hospital, Monica Ferguson takes over as top dog in fight with Noeline Bourke. We are introduced to Clara Goddard, a rich friend of Steve Wilson. He wants her to contribute to a Halfway House with Karen as manager. At the end of the episode, Clara tells Steve she is about to be arrested. |
